    Off-the-plan apartment sales soar as prices fall on the Gold Coast

    OFF-the plan apartment sales on the Gold Coast are continuing to soar as numerous developments pop up across the city.

    But the average sales price for new apartments has dropped significantly after hitting a record high last quarter, according to property consultant company Urbis.

    The Quarterly Apartment Essentials report revealed an average sales price of $743,782 for the September quarter — $132,000 less than the June quarter average.

    Sales jumped 29 per cent on last quarter with 198 deals recorded and three projects were launched to the market offering buyers 195 new apartments.
